Volunteer Day - Sat 18 Oct 2025

Our inaugural volunteer day is scheduled for SATURDAY 18TH OCTOBER & we’d love you all to be there.

We will meet at 10am at the Carlidnack Lane end of the wood at the bottom of the flight of steps that leads to the top path - see image below.

There is parking available for 4 cars at The Quillet, TR11 5HE
We will focus on a small area to remove all old plastic tree guards, sift out those that can be used again and remove the old barbed wire.
BYO gloves (heavy leather if you’re able to help remove barbed wire); secateurs; pruning saw; heavy duty wire snips, rubbish sacks. We will go ahead regardless of the weather.

Please be aware that you’ll be working on a slippery bramble-covered slope with hidden barbed wire. We plan to stop at 11:30 for refreshments at The Quillet.
